FUNERALS
Ministry at the time of death is a crucial aspect of our life as followers of Christ. The people, pastor and staff of First United Methodist Church of Pittsburgh understand the pain that the loss of a loved one or friend brings. We also recognize the ready availability of comfort, hope and strength found in the community of the church.
At the time of death, family or loved ones should immediately contact the church office (412-681-8222) or email Pastor Tracy Cox pastortracy@fumcpittsburgh.org. This contact will enable the planning for the needed arrangements of a funeral or memorial service. More importantly, the communication with the church will give the opportunity for the congregation to provide care and love in this important time of need.
