ALL CHURCH CHINESE DINNER – YEAR OF THE PIG

We will have our All Church dinner to celebrate Chinese New Year (It’s the Year of the Pig) on Sunday, February 17th, immediately after worship.  Please consider signing up to help at the dinner.  A sign-up sheet with a listing of jobs/help needed will be on the Clip Board table in the Sanctuary.  You can also email Karen Merrick at crimmerr@aol.com

SPIRIT OF JUSTICE MUSEUM VISIT

The Spirit of Justice class will be visiting the “Cry, Baby” exhibit
at the Warhol museum on February 17, after the all-church Chinese
dinner. This exhibit, which features works by Devan Shimoyama, is
described in part as “[challenging] cliche with daring and personal
representations of the complexities of race and sexuality.” All are
invited to join, whether or not you’re a part of the Spirit of Justice
class. More information is available on the Warhol museum’s website,
and if you have any questions, contact Sam Procter at
sam.procter@gmail.com
